Made from 1.5mm aluminium this is a versatile little drive holder that can be used in your builds in so many ways…
It has holes that will take up to 5 x 2.5″ regular laptop type or SSD drives attached edge on, and has a ‘open’ profile to allow maximum air flow between drives.
The drive holder can mount directly to 120 or 140 fans (just break off the legs at the perforations to make it fit on 120s without overhang) or to any flat surface or to a spare fan mounting inside any case.
Extra perforations are provided around the inner frame so that you can reduce a bracket down to a rectangular drive brace.
These configurations mean you can use it to create your own forced air drive holder with push, pull or (by using two of these holders) push AND pull fans.
If you are building a G5 conversion and are using a laser hive fan bracket you can mount one to the bracket (or to a fan or water cooler attached to the bracket). or even to CPU air coolers! Or you could simply use one tucked away in a corner of your case to mount your SSDs.
We can provide these bare, or with threaded inserts attached to the fan hole grouping of your choice.
I can also supply these with short M3 (T10) screws for attaching the drives to the holder if you wish.
